AN ACT to extend the powers of Municipal

Councils, and to promote the Paving of Foot-

paths in Municipalities, and for other purposes.

[ Assented to, 19th April, 1888. ]

HEREAS the Footpaths in a Municipality are from time to

abutting thereon, or by the Council of the Municipality, or partly byW

1.     THIS Act may be cited as "The Municipal Footpaths Act, short

1888," and shall be read and construed together with " The Muni- cipal Institutions Act, 1876," and the several Acts amending the same, as one Act.
