HER HONOUR:   I have before me an application to amend the statements of claim in these matters by the adding of additional names to the schedule of represented parties.  I have, in addition, an affidavit sworn by Adrian Phillip Joel, solicitor for the applicants, sworn on 19 April 2001, and a letter from the Australian Government Solicitor confirming that his client’s position in these matters remains unchanged but his client is of the view that, subject to the course being acceptable to the Court, the application before me should be dealt with in Chambers without the need for the parties to attend.  Accordingly, I make orders in each matter in accordance with the draft short minutes of order filed in these matters and initialled by me and placed in the papers.

The Court will now adjourn.

AT 9.33 AM THE MATTER WAS CONCLUDED
