Termination of employment.

[1] I heard further submissions from the parties on 29 August 2011 regarding the amount of compensation payable to Ms Nohra pursuant to my decision 1 of 15 June 2011. Both parties provided written submissions with calculations.2 I do not intend to repeat the submissions.

[2] I find that:

  • Ms Nohra is entitled to compensation amounting to $566.68 hours of accrued leave paid at $46.05 per hour.


  • Ms Nohra is not entitled to payment of any leave that might have accrued after 31 May 2011.


  • Ms Nohra is not entitled to be paid 4 weeks notice in addition to payments already made by Target.


[3] I calculate the compensation owed to Ms Nohra as $26,095.00 less tax to be deducted at the rate of taxation payable on a termination of employment.
