Motor Vehicles (Third Party Insurance) Regulations² (Amendment)

I, GORDON GLEN DENTON SCHOLES, the Minister of State for Territories, hereby make the following Regulations under the Motor Traffic Ordinance 1936.

Commencement

1.  These Regulations shall come into operation on 12 June 1987.

Premium rates

2.  Regulation 16 of the Motor Vehicle (Third Party Insurance) Regulations is amended by omitting from subregulation (2) “$243” and substituting “$210”.

First Schedule

3.  The First Schedule to the Motor Vehicle (Third Party Insurance) Regulations is amended:

(a)by omitting from Part I paragraphs (o) and (p) and substituting the following paragraph:

“(o)Historic Vehicle—A motor vehicle manufactured not later than 30 years before the date on which a third-party policy to be issued or renewed in respect of the vehicle will be expressed to commence.”; and

(b)by omitting Part II and substituting the following Part:
