An Act to amend the Motor Vehicles Securities Act 1984

[Royal Assent 13 November 1997]

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1Short titleThis Act may be cited as the Motor Vehicles Securities Amendment Act 1997 . 2CommencementThis Act commences on the day after the day on which it receives the Royal Assent. 3Principal ActIn this Act, the Motor Vehicles Securities Act 1984 is referred to as the Principal Act. 4Section 4 amended (Application to register security interest) Section 4(3)(b) of the Principal Act is amended by omitting "$12" and substituting "$15".
