1. These regulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Interstate Road Transport Act

Fees) Regulations, 1986.

2. These regulations shall come into operation on 1 January, 1987.

3. In these regulations—

(a)	"the Act" means the Interstate Road Transport Act 1985 of the Commonwealth;
and
(b)	all expressions used have the same meanings as in the Act.

4. Fees are payable to the Department of Transport as set out in the schedule for the

performance under the Act of the functions set out in the schedule.
