s1 2 s6 Motor Vehicles and Boats Securities Amendment No. 145, 2003 Regulation (No. 1) 2003 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Motor Vehicles and Boats Securities Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2003 . 2 Commencement This regulation commences on 1 July 2003. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Motor Vehicles Securities Regulation 1995. 4 Replacement of s 1 (Short title) Section 1— omit, insert— ‘1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Motor Vehicles and Boats SecuritiesRegulation 1995 .’. 5 Omission of ss 3, 4, 7, 8 and 13 Sections 3, 4, 7, 8 and 13— omit. 6 Amendment of s 6 (Prescribed particulars to be entered in register) (1) Section 6(a) and (b), ‘(by New South Wales reckoning)’— omit. (2) Section 6(g)— renumber as section 6(i). (3) Section 6— insert— ‘(g) the make and HIN of each boat to which the interest applies;

s7 3 s9 Motor Vehicles and Boats Securities Amendment No. 145, 2003 Regulation (No. 1) 2003 (h) the make and engine number of each outboard motor to which the interest applies;’. 7 Renumbering of provisions Sections 5, 6, 9, 10, 11 and 14— renumber as sections 3 to 8. 8 Insertion of new s 9 After section 8, as renumbered— insert— ‘9 Prescribed period for registration of bills of sale security interest For section 42(1) of the Act, the period is until the commencement of the primary subsection. 1 ’. 9 Amendment of schedule (Fees) (1) Schedule, item 1, ‘for a vehicle’— omit.
