Motor Vehicle (Third Party Insurance) Regulations1 (Amendment)

The Australian Capital Territory Executive makes the following Regulations under the Motor Traffic Act 1936.

Commencement

1.  These Regulations commence on the day on which they are notified in the Gazette.

Principal Regulations

2.  In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Motor Traffic (Third Party Insurance) Regulations.

First Schedule

3.  The First Schedule to the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting item 5 of Part II and substituting the following item:

“5

Omnibus or tourist motor vehicle

    (a).. where the vehicle has seating accommodation for more than 16 adult persons (including the driver) ...............................................

    (b).. where the vehicle has seating accommodation for not more than 16 adult persons (including the driver) .........................................
