Motor Vehicle (Third Party Insurance) Regulations (ACT)

REGULATIONS 1963. No. 9.*

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on the first day of commence-

4. The First Schedule to the Motor Vehicle (Third Party Insurance) First Schedule.

Regulations is amended—

(a) by inserting after paragraph (c) of Part I. the following

paragraph:—

" (d) Motor Break-down Vehicle.—A motor lorry constructed to be used principally for the towing of vehicles that have broken- down.";

(b) by omitting paragraph (g) of Part I. and inserting in its stead

the following paragraph:—

" (g) Motor Trade Vehicle.—A motor vehicle (other than a motor cycle) to which trader's plates are affixed, or a motor cycle or trailer to which a trader's plate is affixed.";

(c) by omitting item 12 of Part II. and inserting in its stead the

following item:—

" 12. Motor Trade Vehicle—

(a) in respect of motor vehicles (other

than motor cycles) . . . . 22 13 0

(b) in respect of motor cycles and trailers 13 4 0" ; and
