HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Motor Vehicle Sports (Public Safety) Act 1985, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Motor Vehicle Sports (Public Safety) Regulation 1994 is amended by omitting from clauses 29 (b) and 35 (b) the words “Auto Cycle Union of New South Wales Limited” wherever occurring and by inserting instead the words “Motorcycling Australia (NSW) Incorporated”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to replace references to the Auto Cycle Union of New South Wales Limited in those provisions of the Motor Vehicle Sports (Public Safety) Regulation 1994 dealing with prescribed organisations which may be authorised to hold race meetings and be represented on advisory committees with references to Motorcycling Australia (NSW) Incorporated.

This Regulation is made under the Motor Vehicle Sports (Public Safety) Act 1985, including section 17 (the general regulation-making power) and sections 9 (1) and 16 (2).
