Motor Vehicle Repairers Amendment

Regulations 2009

Made by the Governor in Executive Council under sections 6 and 114 of the Act.

1.           Citation

These regulations are the Motor Vehicle Repairers Amendment
Regulations 2009.

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.            Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Motor Vehicle Repairers
Regulations 2007.

4.            Regulation 711 inserted

After regulation 7G insert:

7H.	Exemption from requirement for planning certificate
(1)	In this regulation — relevant day means the day on which the Motor Vehicle Repairers Amendment Regulations 2009, other than regulations 1 and 2 of those regulations, come into

(2) On and after the relevant day, an application by an

existing repair business for a business licence is
exempt from the operation of sections 13(3)(b),
58(1)(b) and 60 of the Act in respect of each of the

premises specified in the application.
