Motor Vehicle Drivers Instructors Amendment

Regulations 2001

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicle Drivers
Instructors Amendment Regulations 2001.

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation on 5 February 2001.

3.            The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the .ilotor Vehicle
Drivers Instructors Regulations 1964*.

4.            Regulation 3 amended

Regulation 3 is amended by deleting "the schedule to these regulations." and inserting instead —

5.            Regulation 4 amended

Regulation 4 is amended by deleting "the schedule to these
regulations." and inserting instead —
" Schedule 1. "

6.            Regulation 12 amended

Regulation 12(1) is amended by deleting "The Licensing and
Services Division of the Western Australia Police Department"
and inserting instead —
" A body listed in Schedule 2 ".

7.            Regulation 13 amended

Regulation 13 is amended as follows:

(a) by deleting the item beginning "Examination by The National Safety Council of Western Australia Incorporated or other prescribed body" and inserting instead —

Test by the Director General under section 7(3) of the Act ............... ................ 42.15
(b)	by deleting the item beginning "Entering into a training course with The National Safety Council of Western Australia Incorporated or other prescribed body".

8.            Regulation 13A amended

Regulation 13A(1)(a) is amended by deleting "The National
Safety Council of Western Australia Incorporated or any other
body prescribed for the purpose of section 7(4) of the Act" and
inserting instead —
" a body listed in Schedule 2 ".

9.            Schedule amended

The Schedule is amended by deleting the heading and inserting instead —
