Motor Vehicle Dealers (Prescribed Vehicles)

Amendment Regulations 2015

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations are the Motor Vehicle Dealers (Prescribed

Vehicles) Amendment Regulations 2015.

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.            Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Motor Vehicle Dealers (Prescribed

4.            Regulation 2 amended

In regulation 2 delete the definition of goods vehicle and insert:

goods vehicle means a motor vehicle designed to be
used primarily to carry goods or materials used in any
trade, business or industry but does not include the

following motor vehicles —

(a)	a crane, hoist or conveyor;
(b)

an excavator, road grader, road roller, bulldozer a tractor), that is not constructed on a chassis of a type normally used in the construction of a truck;

(c) a motor vehicle that is constructed or adapted for road construction or maintenance (including cleaning, sweeping or watering);
