MOTOR VEHICLE DEALERS (LICENSING) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 1994

Made by His Excellency the Governor in Executive Council.

Citation

1.     These regulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicle Dealers (Licensing)

Amendment Regulations 1994.

2.     In these regulations the Motor Vehicle Dealers (Licensing) Regulations

1974* are referred to as the principal regulations.

Regulation 7 repealed and a regulation substituted

3.     Regulation 7 of the principal regulations is repealed and the following

regulation substituted —

Fees

7. (1) The fee to be paid for an application for the grant of a dealer's licence is $197, and a further $197 in respect of each premises to be registered in the dealer's name under section 21 in relation to the licence.

(2) The fee to be paid for an application for the renewal of a
dealer's licence is $197, and a further $197 in respect of each
premises registered in the dealer's name under section 21 in

fees to be paid in respect of the matters to which they are (3) The further fees set out in the Third Schedule are the

applicable.

Second Schedule amended

4.      The Second Schedule to the principal regulations is amended -

(a) in Form 1 by deleting "hereby apply for a Vehicle Dealers Licence under the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act 1973 and tender herewith the required fee of $ .........for the licence together with fees

totalling $ ........for ............certificate(s) of registered	premisesat which I propose to carry on business under the
authority of the licence, and substituting the following -

apply for a Vehicle Dealers Licence under the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act 1973 and tender the application fee of$ .........for the licence, together with	$ ........for .............premises to be	registered in my name in relation to this licence and
at which I propose to carry on business under the authority of this licence.

(b)	in Form 2 by deleting "hereby apply for a Vehicle Dealers Licence under the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act 1973 and tender herewith the required fee of $ ..............for the licence, together
on business." and substituting the following - certificate(s) of registered premises at which we propose to carry with fees totalling $ ............for ............

apply for a Vehicle Dealers Licence under the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act 1973 and tender the application fee of $ .........for the licence, together with	$ ........for .............premises to be	registered in our names in relation to this licence and
at which we propose to carry on business under the authority of this licence.

(c) in Form 3 by deleting "hereby applies for a Vehicle Dealers

Licence under the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act 1973, and tenders
