AN ACT to amend the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act

1973-1982.

[Assented to 6 October 1982.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Motor avitign,

Vehicle Dealers Amendment Act (No. 2) 1982.

(2) In this Act the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act :3:.,isreedd 14

Section 25

amended. 2. Section 25 of the principal Act is amended in subsection (2b) by deleting "officer," and sub- stituting the following-

" officer or " .

Section 27

amended. 3. Section 27 of the principal Act is amended in

subsection (1)-

(a) by inserting after "Police Force," the following-

" any authorized officer

(b) by inserting after "of that member" the following-

" , authorized officer " ;

(c) by inserting after "as that member" the following-

" , authorized officer " ; and

(d) by inserting after "any such member" the followin g-

" , authorized officer " .

Section 28 4. Section 28 of the principal Act is amended in subsection (1) by inserting after "Police Force," wherever it occurs, the following-

amended.

" an authorized officer " .
