The Australian Capital Territory Executive makes the following regulations under the Motor Traffic Act 1936.

1. Commencement

   These regulations commence on 1 August 1999.

2. Regulations amended

   These regulations amend the Motor Traffic Regulations.

3. Substitution

   Regulation 1 is repealed and the following regulation substituted:

   These regulations are the Motor Traffic Regulations 1934.”.

5. Schedule 1

   Schedule 1 is amended—

(a)by omitting from item 44 in Part 1 “60” and substituting “200”; and

(b)by omitting from item 50 in Part 1 “60” and substituting “67”; and

(c)by omitting from item 5 in Part 2 “112” and substituting “67”; and

(d)by omitting from item 51 in Part 2 “112” and substituting “157”; and

(f)by omitting from item 66 in Part 2 “67” and substituting “90”; and

(g)by omitting from item 67 in Part 2 “67” (second occurring) and substituting “90”; and

(h)by omitting from item 95 in Part 2 “149” and substituting “500”; and

(i)by omitting from item 96 in Part 2 “149” and substituting “500”; and

(k)by omitting from item 109 in Part 2 “345” and substituting “500”; and
