Motor Traffic Regulations Amendment

The Australian Capital Territory Executive makes the following regulations under the Motor Traffic Act 1936.

1. Commencement

2. Regulation 1 and this regulation commence on the day these regulations are notified in the Gazette.

3. Regulation 3 commences on 6 September 1999.

4. Regulations amended

   These regulations amend the Motor Traffic Regulations1934.

5. Insertion

   Before regulation 26A the following regulation is inserted in Part IVA:

“26AA Definition for Part IVA

In this Part—

taxi includes a private hire car.”.
