Motor Traffic Regulations 2 (Amendment)

I, WILLIAM MICHAEL HODGMAN, the Minister of State for the Capital Territory, hereby make the following Regulation under the Motor Traffic Ordinance 1936.

Registration fees for trailers

Regulation 11 of the Motor Traffic Regulations is amended —

(a)	by omitting from paragraph (l)(b) "1 tonne" and substituting "2 tonnes";
(b)	by omitting from paragraph (l)(c) "1 tonne" (wherever occurring) and substituting "2 tonnes";
(c)	by omitting from paragraph (2) (b) "1 tonne—S25; and" and sub­ stituting "500 kilograms—S25;";

(d) by inserting after paragraph (2) (b) the following paragraph:

"(ba) where the mass of the trailer exceeds 500 kilograms but does not exceed 1 tonne—S25. together with S10 for each 250 kilograms, or part of 250 kilograms, by which the mass of the trailer exceeds 500 kilograms; and"; and

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at
(e)	by omitting from paragraph (2) (c) "S25" and "S10" and substituting "S45" and "SI5" , respectively.
