REGULATIONS UNDER THE MOTOR TRAFFIC ORDINANCE 1926.
PURSUANT to the powers conferred upon it by the Motor Traffic Ordinance 1926, the Federal Capita! Commission, appointed under the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1924-1926, hereby makes the following Regulations, to come into operation forthwith.

Short title. 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Motor Traffic Regulations. Definitions. 2. In these Rogulgtiong, unless the. contrary intention appears—
" Licence " means a licence under the Ordinance and includes a permit-licence ;
. ." Registration " means registration under the Ordinance; " t h e Ordinance " means the Motor Traffic Ordinance 1926 ; " the Schedule " means the Schedule to these Regulations.

A licence shall not be granted to any applicant unless a certificate of competency, in accordance with Form 12 in the Schedule, has been given by a person thereto authorized by the Commission and the applicant has answered the questions prescribed in that Form and signed his name thereto. -Ilcpor-t-on.--— application for licence. (2.) Where .trader' section fprty-four of the Ordinance, any person is re- quired to * forward' f?o the'Commission a statutory declaration, that person shall make a statutory declaration in accordance with Form 22 or Form 23 in the Schedule, as the case requires, and forward it to the Commission.
Defaced 8. Where any number-plate issued under the Ordinance is defaced, the number plate. person to whom the number.-plate .was .issued shall forward to the Com-
mission a notification thereof in accordance with Form 24 in the Schedule.Where 9. (1) Where any number-plate issued under the Ordinance is lost or number plate lost or destroyed, the person to whom the number-plate was issued shall forward destroyed. to the Commission a notification, thereof in accordance with Form 25 in the

(2) Where, under section sixteen of the Ordinance, any person is required to forward to the Commission a statutory declaration, that person shall make a statutory declaration in accordance with Form 25 in the Schedule and forward it to the Commission.
