An Act to amend section 18B of the Motor Traffic Act, 1909, in relation to penalty notices for certain offences under the Local Government Act, 1919. [Assented to, 22nd April, 1983.]

Motor Traffic (Local Government) Amendment.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title.

1. This Act may be cited as the "Motor Traffic (Local Government)

Amendment Act, 1983".

Amendment of Act No. 5, 1909.

2.      The Motor Traffic Act, 1909, is amended in the manner set forth in

Schedule 1.

SCHEDULE 1.

(Sec. 2.)

AMENDMENTS TO THE MOTOR TRAFFIC ACT, 1909.

(1) Section 18B (1) (d)—

Omit "or" where secondly occurring.

(2) Section 18B (1) (e)—

Omit "vehicle,", insert instead "vehicle; or".

(3) Section 18B (1) (f)—

After section 18B (1) (e), insert:—

(f)

has committed any prescribed offence under any ordinance made for carrying Part IX of the Local Government Act, 1919, into effect, being an offence relating to the loss of the load or any part of the load of a motor vehicle,
