AN ORDINANCE

To amend the Motor Traffic Ordinance 1936

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Ordinance under the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1910.

MOTOR TRAFFIC (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE (No. 6) 1977

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Motor Traffic (Amendment)

Ordinance (No. 6) 1977.*

2. This Ordinance shall come into operation on such date as is fixed by the Minister of State for the Capital Territory by notice in the Gazette.

3. Section 163c of the Motor Traffic Ordinance 1936f is amended—

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at

(a)

by omitting from paragraph (2) (a) "Five cents" and substituting " 1 0 cents "; and

(b)

by omitting from paragraph (2) (b) "Ten cents" and substituting " 20 cents ".
