An Ordinance to amend the Motor Traffic Ordinance 1936

Short title

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Motor Traffic (Amendment) Ordinance

(No. 5) 1981. 1

Principal Ordinance

Ordinance 1936.2 2. In this Ordinance, "Principal Ordinance" means the Motor Traffic
Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at

Load limits in public streets

3. Section 133A of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting " tons" from the definition of "load limit sign" in sub-section (1) and substituting "tonnes".

Speed limit for motor cycle with pillion passenger

4. Section 146 of the Principal Ordinance is repealed.
