AN ORDINANCE

Relating to Motor Traffic.

I, T H E GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Ordinance under the Seat of Government (Administra­ tion) Act 1910.

MOTOR TRAFFIC (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE (No. 3) 1977

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Motor Traffic (Amendment)

Ordinance (No. 3) 1977.*

2. Section 168 of the Motor Traffic Ordinance 1936f is amended by omitting paragraphs (b) and (c) and substituting the following para­ graphs:—

" (b) for the carriage of goods for monetary or other material

consideration;

(c) for the carriage of a person or of persons for monetary consideration the amount of which exceeds the actual cost of operating the motor vehicle for the purpose of carrying that person or those persons, as the case may be; or

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at
(d)	for any other purpose contrary to the provisions of this Ordinance,".
