AN ORDINANCE

To amend the Motor Traffic Ordinance 1936

I, T H E GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Ordinance under the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1910.

MOTOR TRAFFIC (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE

(No. 2) 1981

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Motor Traffic (Amendment)

Ordinance (No. 2) 1981.*

2.   Section 4 of the Motor Traffic Ordinance 1936f is amended—

(a)

by omitting " 1957-1966" from paragraph (a) of the definition of " drug " in sub-section (1) and substituting " 1957 ";

(b)

by omitting " 1933-1967 " from paragraph (b) of the definition of " drug " in sub-section (1) and substituting " 1933 "; and

(c)

by omitting paragraph (c) of the definition of "drug" in sub-section (1) and substituting the following paragraph: " (c) a substance that is a Schedule 8 substance or a

Schedule 12 substance within the meaning of the

Poisons and Narcotic Drugs Ordinance 1978;".
