AN ORDINANCE

Relating to Motor Traffic.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Ordinance under the Seat of Government (Administra­ tion) Act 1910-1973.

MOTOR TRAFFIC ORDINANCE (No. 3) 1976

1. (1) This Ordinance may be cited as the Motor Traffic

Ordinance (No. 3) 1976.*

(2) The Motor Traffic Ordinance 1936-1974,f as amended by the

Motor Traffic Ordinance 1976$ and the Motor Traffic Ordinance (No.

2)   1976,§ is in this Ordinance referred to as the Principal Ordinance. (3) Section 1 of the Motor Traffic Ordinance (No. 2) 1976 is

amended by omitting sub-section ( 4 ) .

(4) The Principal Ordinance, as amended by this Ordinance, may

be cited as the Motor Traffic Ordinance 1936-1976.

2. Section 105 of the Principal Ordinance is amended—

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel-also accessible at
(a)	by omitting from sub-section (3) the words " as the period for which the registration" and substituting the words " as the number of months for which the registration ";
(b)	by inserting after sub-section (3) the following sub­ section:—

" (3A ) In calculating the fee payable under sub-section

( 3 ) , part of a month shall be treated as a month."; and

(c) by omitting from sub-regulation (4) the words "the last preceding sub-section " and substituting the words " sub­ section (3) ".
