Relating to Motor Traffic.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, hereby make the following Ordinance under

the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1910-1972.

MOTOR TRAFFIC ORDINANCE (No. 2) 1973

1. (1) This Ordinance may be cited as the Motor Traffic Ordinance (No. 2) 1973.*

(2) Section 1 of the Motor Traffic Ordinance 1973 is amended by omitting sub-section ( 3 ) .

(3) The Motor Traffic Ordinance 1936-1972,1 as amended by the Motor Traffic Ordinance 1973$ and by this Ordinance, may be cited as the Motor Traffic Ordinance 1936-1973.

2 . Section 27 of the Motor Traffic Ordinance 1936-1972, as

amended by the Motor Traffic Ordinance 1973, is amended—

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at
(a)	by inserting after sub-section (2) the following sub­ section:—

" (2A ) The Registrar shall not transfer a taxi licence that has been granted on or after the date of commencement of the Motor Traffic Ordinance (No. 2) 1973."; and

(b) by omitting from sub-section (7) the words and figures " sub-sections (2) and (9) " and substituting the words and figures "sub-sections ( 2 ) , (2A ) and (9) ".
