An Ordinance to amend the Motor Traffic Ordinance

1936-1960.

Short this	1.—(1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Motor Traffic Ordinance 1962.*
and citation.
(2.) The Motor Traffic Ordinance 1936-1960f is in this Ordinance referred to as the Principal Ordinance.
(3.) The Principal Ordinance, as amended by this Ordinance, may be cited as the Motor Traffic Ordinance 1936- 1962.
Recovery of	2. Section forty-one p of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting from paragraph {b) of sub-section (3.) the words " any statute which is in force in any prescribed part of the Commonwealth other than the Territory and which requires " and inserting in their stead the words " a law that is in force in a State or in the Northern Territory of Australia requiring ".

Exemption of
visiting motor	3. Section forty-one AX of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting all the words appearing after the word " force " and inserting in their stead the words " a policy of insurance complying with the provisions of a law that is in force in a State or in the Northern Territory of Australia requiring the owner or driver of a motor vehicle to be insured against liability in respect of the death of, or bodily injury to, any person caused by or arising out of the use of the motor vehicle ".
