Motor Trade Legislation Amendment New South Wales

Act 2001 No 86—Proclamation

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Motor Trade Legislation Amendment Act 2001, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 March 2002 as the day on which the following provisions of that Act commence:

(a)

sections 1 and 2, and sections 3 and 4 in their application to the amendments referred to in paragraphs (b) and (c),

(b)

Schedule1[1]–[3],[5],[7],[9],[12]–[14],[22],[27],[34],[35],[37], [43]–[45], [47], [51] and [54]–[58],

(c)

Schedule2[19],[20],[43],[44],[48],[50]–[54],[58]–[63],[70]–[72], [74]–[76] and [78]–[81].

Explanatory note
The object of this proclamation is to commence certain amendments to the Motor Dealers Act 1974
and the Motor Vehicle Repairs Act 1980.

This proclamation is made under section 2 of the Act.
