AN ORDINANCE

To amend the Motor Omnibus Services Ordinance 1955

I, THE ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Ordinance under the Seat of Government

{Administration) Act 1910.

MOTOR OMNIBUS SERVICES (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE

1981

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Motor Omnibus Services
{Amendment) Ordinance 1981.*

2. In this Ordinance, " Principal Ordinance " means the Motor Omnibus Services Ordinance 1955.t

3.   Section 7 of the Principal Ordinance is amended— (a) by omitting from paragraph (c) " a n d " ; and (b) by inserting after paragraph (c) the following paragraph:

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at

" (ca) the behaviour of passengers in, and of persons

intending to enter, an omnibus; and ".

4. The Motor Omnibus Services Regulations (comprising Regu­ lations 1955 No. 14 as amended by Regulations 1967 No. 10; 1970 No. 10; 1972 No. 9; 1974 No. 6; 1975 Nos. 2 and 28; 1976 No. 15; 1977 No. 1; and 1978 No. 13) made under the Motor Omnibus Ser­ vices Ordinance 1955 shall be deemed to be as valid and effectual as they would be if they had been made under the Principal Ordinance as amended by this Ordinance.
