Motor Omnibus Fares Regulations2

(Amendment)

I, THOMAS UREN, the Minister of State for Territories and Local Government, hereby make the following Regulations under the Motor Omnibus Services Ordinance 1955.

Prices for daily tickets

1. Regulation 6A of the Motor Omnibus Fares Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting paragraph (2) (g) and substituting the following paragraphs:

"(g) unemployed persons; (h) special beneficiaries; (i) dependent spouses."; and

(b) by omitting paragraph (3) (b) and substituting the following paragraph:

"(b) the price prescribed in relation to pensioners, unemployed persons, special beneficiaries and dependent spouses is $1.15.".

Prices for monthly tickets

(i) dependent spouses."; and

2. Regulation 6B of the Motor Omnibus Fares Regulations is amended by

omitting paragraph (2) (g) and substituting the following paragraphs:

"(g) unemployed persons; (h) special beneficiaries; (i) dependent spouses.".

Prices for books of tickets

3. Regulation 6D of the Motor Omnibus Fares Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting paragraph (2) (g) and substituting the following paragraphs:

"(g) unemployed persons; (h) special beneficiaries;

(b) by omitting sub-regulation (3) and substituting the following

sub-regulation:

"(3)	For the purposes of sub-section 4CA (3) of the Ordinance—
(a)	the price prescribed in relation to—

(i	children;
(ii	school students;
(Hi	tertiary students;
(iv	immigrant students; and
(v	student nurses,

(vi	for a book of 10 tickets- -$2.10;
(vii	for a book of 20 tickets- $4.20; and
(viii	for a book of 50 tickets- -$10.50; and

(b) the price prescribed in relation to-

(i	pensioners;
(ii	unemployed persons;
(iii	special beneficiaries; and
(iv	dependent spouses,
is—
(v	for a book of 10 tickets—$ 1.80;
(vi	for a book of 20 tickets—$3.60; and
(vii	for a book of 50 tickets—$9.00.".

Concession fares

4. Regulation 9 of the Motor Omnibus Fares Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1) "or an unemployed person" and substituting ", an unemployed person, a special beneficiary or a dependent spouse".
