Motor Omnibus Fares Regulations2

(Amendment)

I, THOMAS UREN, the Minister of State for Territories and Local Government, hereby make the following Regulations under the Motor Omnibus Services Ordinance 1955.

Exemptions

1. Regulation 10 of the Motor Omnibus Fares Regulations is amended by

omitting from sub-regulation (1) "6 or 9" and substituting "9, 11 or 11 A".

2. After regulation 11 of the Motor Omnibus Fares Regulations the

following regulation is inserted:

Concession fares—Wednesdays

"11 A. Notwithstanding the provisions of regulation 4, the fare to be

charged in respect of a journey—

(a)	that commences between the hours of 9 o'clock in the morning and 3 o'clock in the afternoon, or after 6 o'clock in the evening, on a Wednesday; and
(b)	that is undertaken by a pensioner, an unemployed person, a special beneficiary or a dependent spouse,
