Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Motor Dealers Act 1974.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Motor Dealers Regulation 2010 to replace references to the Register of Encumbered Vehicles (REVS) with references to the Personal Property Securities Register established under the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 of the Commonwealth (which replaces REVS).
This Regulation is made under the Motor Dealers Act 1974, including section 57 (the general regulation-making power).

1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Motor Dealers Amendment (Personal Property
Securities Register) Regulation 2011.
2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on the day on which the registration commencement time (within the meaning of the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 of the Commonwealth) occurs and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.
