Motor Dealers Amendment New South Wales

(Transitional) Regulation 2001

Motor Dealers Act 1974

Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Motor Dealers Act 1974.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to extend until 1 September 2002 the period during which registers and notices, complying with the requirements of the repealed Motor Dealers Regulation 1986, may be used for the purposes of the Motor Dealers Regulation 1999.
This Regulation is made under the Motor Dealers Act 1974, including section 57

(the general regulation-making power).

  1. Name of Regulation

    This Regulation is the Motor Dealers Amendment (Transitional)

    Regulation 2001.

2 Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 September 2001.

3 Notes

The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.

  1. Amendment of Motor Dealers Regulation 1999

    The Motor Dealers Regulation 1999 is amended by omitting
    “1 September 2001” from clause 70 (3) and by inserting instead

    “1 September 2002”.
