His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Motor Dealers Act 1974.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to update references to the Commissioner for Consumer Affairs in the Motor Dealers Regulation 1986 to references to the Director-General of the Department of Fair Trading.
This Regulation is made under the Motor Dealers Act 1974, including section 57 (the general regulation-making power).

1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Motor Dealers Amendment (Administration) Regulation 1997.
Amendment of Motor Dealers Regulation 1986
The Motor Dealers Regulation 1986 is amended as set out in
Schedule 1.
