I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Motor Accidents Amendment Act 1998, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 February 1999 as the day on which section 3 of that Act, and Schedule 1 [8]–[10], [44] and [45] to that Act, commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This proclamation commences the provisions of the Motor Accidents Amendment Act 1998 that amend section 15B of the Motor Accidents Act 1988 and that give effect to certain savings and transitional provisions.
