MOTOR ACCIDENTS AMENDMENT ACT 1995—

PROCLAMATION

NEW SOUTH WALES

P. R. SINCLAIR, Governor.

I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (1) of the Motor Accidents Amendment Act 1995, do, by this my Proclamation appoint 1 January 1996 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

By section 2 (2) of the Motor Accidents Amendment Act 1995, Schedule 1 [5], [34]–[38] and [43] to that Act are taken to have commenced at midnight on 26 September 1995. The object of this Proclamation is to commence the other provisions of that Act.
