Motor Accident Insurance Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2012 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Motor Accident Insurance Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2012 . 2 Commencement This regulation commences on 1 July 2012. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Motor Accident Insurance Regulation 2004. 4 Amendment of s 8 (Levies and administration fee—Act, s 14A) Section 8(1) and (2), ‘1 July 2011’— omit, insert — ‘1 July 2012’. 5 Amendment of s 18 (Notice of claim—Act, s 37(1)(a) and (c)) Section 18(1)(g), ‘traffic incident number’— omit, insert— ‘police accident report reference number’. 6 Amendment of s 19 (Notice of claim—Act, s 37(1)(b)) Section 19— insert— ‘(i) the office of the director of public prosecutions; (j) the legal services commission; (k) the workers’ compensation regulatory authority.’. (2) Schedule 4, definition traffic incident number — omit, insert— ‘ police accident report reference number means the identifying number allocated by the police department to a motor vehicle accident.’.
