I, the chief executive of the State Insurance Regulatory Authority, in pursuance of section 3.22(3) of the Motor Accident Injuries Act 2017, make the following Order.

Explanatory note

The object of this Order is to notify the number that equates to the factor ---- used in the formula set out in
C

section 3.22 of the Motor Accident Injuries Act 2017 (the Act) for calculating the variation of the amount of

a weekly payment of statutory benefits to be paid to a person who has been injured in a motor accident to

which the Act applies.

Section 3.22 of the Act requires the amount of a weekly payment of statutory benefits to be varied on 1 April

and 1 October each year.

1      Name of Order

This Order is the Motor Accident Injuries (Indexation) Amendment Order 2020.

2      Commencement

This Order commences on 1 April 2020 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.
