WH E R E A S W a r e h o u s i n g P o r t for the W a r e h o u s i n g of goods impor ted in
it is deemed expedient to const i tu te More ton Bay a

Bri t ish ships or vessels Be i t therefore enacted by H i s Excel lency the Governor of N e w South W a l e s w i t h t h e advice and consent of t h e Legislat ive Counci l thereof T h a t from and after the first day of A u g u s t nex t More ton Bay shall be a W a r e h o u s i n g P o r t accordingly a n d t h a t i t shall be lawful for t h e Collector or o ther Chief Officer of Cus toms of t he said Por t by not ice unde r h is h a n d to appoint from t ime to t ime such W a r e h o u s e or Warehouses a t said P o r t as shall be approved of by h i m for the warehous ing and secur ing of goods there in for t h e purposes of th i s Ac t and subject to t h e law in t h a t behalf which is now or shall hereafter be in force and also in such not ice to declare w h a t sort of goods m a y be warehoused a n d also by a l ike not ice to

revoke or a l ter any such appo in tmen t Provided always t h a t every
such not ice shal l be t r a n s m i t t e d to the Governor of t he said Colony
and approved of by h i m before i t can t a k e effect.
