CONTINUANCE.

8° and 9° GEO. VI., No. XXIV.

No. 24 of 1944.

AN ACT to continue the operation of the Mortgagees'

Rights Restriction Act, 1931.

[Assented to 23rd December, 1944.]

RE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,

by and with the advice and consent of the Legis-

lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western

Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by

the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title.

This Act may be cited as the Mortgagees' Rights Restriction Act Continuance Act, 1944, and shall be read

as one with the Mortgagees' Rights Restriction Act, 1931 (No. 19 of 1931), hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

Continuance

of Act.

2.

(1) The principal Act shall remain in force until

the thirty-first day of December, One thousand nine

hundred and forty-five, and no longer.

Amend-

ment of s. 20.

(2) Section twenty of the principal Act is amended by deleting the words "forty-four" and inserting in lien thereof the words "forty-five."
