Case

[2011] HCASL 157

MORRIS GOODMAN
v
WESTPAC BANKING CORPORATION (ACN 007 457 141)
[2011] HCASL 157
M68/2011

  1. The applicant seeks special leave to appeal against the orders of a single judge of the Federal Court of Australia (North J) dismissing the applicant's appeal against orders of the Federal Magistrates Court.  The Federal Magistrate (Turner FM) had made a sequestration order against the estate of the applicant.

  2. The applicant advances no arguable basis for doubting the correctness of the decision of North J.  An appeal to this Court would enjoy no prospect of success.

  3. Pursuant to r 41.10.5 we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application.
