Rural Home Nursing Service Employee Enterprise Agreement 2010.
[1] Morgan Human Resource Management (“MHRM”), bargaining representative for the Hastings Valley Nursing Service Pty Ltd t/as Rural Home Nursing Service (“the Service”), has filed an application for the approval of an enterprise agreement titled the Rural Home Nursing Service Employee Enterprise Agreement 2010 (“the Agreement”). In correspondence dated 7 March 2011, certain preliminary matters were raised with MHRM going to potential difficulties in relation to the pre-approval steps in the making of the Agreement. In correspondence dated 11 March 2011, MHRM confirmed that the Service wished to proceed with the application for approval and, as such, the matter was listed on 16 March 2011.
[2] As a result of the proceedings on 16 March 2011, during which issues going to both pre-approval steps and better off overall considerations were canvassed in more detail, the representative from MHRM submitted he intended to further discuss matters arising with the Service with a view to either seeking a further listing or discontinuing the application. In correspondence dated 17 March 2011, MHRM confirmed that the application for the approval of the Agreement would be discontinued and, subsequently, a notice of discontinuance was then filed. In the circumstances, the proceedings are now concluded.
