Morant v Terry Ryan (the State Coroner)

Case

[2023] HCASL 201

MORANT
v

TERRY RYAN (THE STATE CORONER)
[2023] HCASL 201
B33/2023

  1. This application for special leave to appeal from a judgment of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Queensland (Bond JA, Boddice AJA and Wilson J), dismissing an application for leave to appeal from the decision of the District Court of Queensland (Loury DCJ), does not raise any question of general importance that might warrant the grant of special leave to appeal. An appeal to this Court would have insufficient prospects of success. It is unnecessary to consider the application made by the Attorney-General of the State of Queensland for leave to appear as amicus curiae.

  2. Special leave to appeal is refused.
