AN ACT to amend the Money Lenders Act,

1912.

[Assented to 30th December, 1913.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and

with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and

Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parlia-

ment assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. This Act may be cited as the Money Lenders Act Amend- Short title.

2. Section three of the Money Lenders Act, 1912, is hereby Amendment of

amended by--

see. 3.

(a)

the insertion of the words ‘• or who lends money at a rate of interest exceeding twelve and one-half pounds per centum per annum " immediately after the word " business," in the fifth line of the section ; and

(b) the insertion of the words " at a rate of interest not exceeding twelve and one-half pounds per centum per annum," at the end of paragraph (d) of the section.
