Monetary Penalties Enforcement Amendment Regulations 2008

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Monetary Penalties Enforcement Act 2005 .28 July 2008

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Monetary Penalties Enforcement Amendment Regulations 2008 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Monetary Penalties Enforcement Regulations 2008 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 4A insertedAfter regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations , the following regulation is inserted: 4AAmount of prescribed unit For the purposes of section 35 of the Act, a prescribed unit is $120.
