Misuse of Drugs Amendment Regulations 2022

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1. Citation

These regulations are the Misuse of Drugs Amendment

3314 GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, WA 17 June 2022

2.   Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day on which the

Veterinary Practice Act 2021 section 197 comes into

operation.

3. Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Misuse of Drugs Regulations 1982.

4. Regulation 5B amended

(1) In regulation 5B(1A) insert in alphabetical order:

veterinarian has the meaning given in the Veterinary

Practice Act 2021 section 3.

(2)	In regulation 5B(1A) in the definition of optometrist delete "profession." and insert:
profession;
(3)	Delete regulation 5B(1)(f) and insert:

(e) veterinarian.
