Act No. 34, 1987

An Act to amend certain Acts as a consequence of and in connection with

the enactment of the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987.

Miscellaneous Acts (Public Authorities Financial Arrangements) Amendment

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Short title

This Act may be cited as the "Miscellaneous Acts (Public Authorities Financial Arrangements) Amendment Act 1987".

Commencement

2. (1) Sections 1 and 2 shall commence on the date of assent to this

Act.

(2) Except as provided by subsection (1), this Act shall commence on the day appointed and notified under section 2 (2) of the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987.

Amendments

Each Act specified in Schedule 1 is amended in the manner specified in that Schedule in relation to that Act.

Growth Centres (Development Corporations) Act 1974 No. 49—

Section 29A—

Omit "the Public Authorities (Financial Accommodation) Act, 1981", insert instead "Part 2 of the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987".

New South Wales Investment Corporation Act 1986 No. 82—

Section 7 (2) (a)—

Omit "Public Authorities (Financial Accommodation) Act 1981", insert instead

Omit the definition, insert instead:

"public authority" means an authority within the meaning of Part 2 of the

funding Act, other than the New South Wales Treasury Corporation.
