An Act to amend certain Acts as a consequence of the enactment of the

Education Commission (Amendment) Act 1988. [Assented to 6 July 1988]

Miscellaneous Acts (Education Commission) Amendment 1988

The Legislature of New South Wales enacts:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Miscellaneous Acts (Education

Commission) Amendment Act 1988.

Commencement

  1. This Act commences at the commencement of Schedule 1 (7) to the

Education Commission (Amendment) Act 1988.

Amendment of Acts consequent on Education Commission (Amendment) Act

1988

3. Each Act specified in Schedule 1 is amended as set out in that

Schedule.

SCHEDULE 1—AMENDMENT OF ACTS

(Sec. 3)

Bursary Endowment Act 1912 No. 14

Section 9A (Consultation with Education Commission)

Omit the section.

Colleges of Advanced Education Act 1975 No. 11

(1) Section 13 (Transfer of certain persons to staff of corporate college)

Section 13 (5)—
Omit "Education Commission Act, 1980", insert instead "Teaching Services

Act 1980".

(2) Schedule 2 (Dissolution of corporate college)

(a) Clause 3 (l)(a)—

Omit "Education Commission of New South Wales", insert instead "Secretary

of the Ministry of Education and Youth Affairs".
