MINISTER OF LANDS INCORPORATION ACT, 1947 MINISTER OF LANDS INCORPORATION ACT, 1947 An Act to create the Minister of Lands a body corporate.

BE IT ENACTED by the Governor of the State of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Parliament thereof, as follows:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Minister of Lands Incorporation Act, 1947.

Incorporation of Minister of Lands

2. (1) The Minister of Lands and his successors in office are hereby constituted a body corporate under the name of "The Minister of Lands" and shall have perpetual succession and a common seal and by that name shall be capable of suing and being sued and of being a party to arbitration and of purchasing, holding and alienating land and of doing and suffering all such other acts and things as bodies corporate may by law do and suffer.

(2) All courts, judges and persons acting judicially shall take judicial notice of such seal when affixed to any instrument and shall, until the contrary is proved, assume that the seal was properly affixed to the instrument.
