MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE INCORPORATION ACT, 1952 MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE INCORPORATION ACT, 1952
An Act to create the Minister of Agriculture a body corporate.
BE IT ENACTED by the Governor of the State of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Parliament thereof, as follows:
Short title
1. This Act may be cited as the Minister of Agriculture Incorporation Act, 1952.
Incorporation of Minister of Agriculture
2. (1) The Minister of Agriculture and his successors in office are hereby constituted a body corporate under the name of "The Minister of Agriculture" and shall have perpetual succession and a common seal and by that name shall be capable of suing and being sued and of being a party to arbitration and of purchasing, holding, and alienating land and of doing and suffering all such other acts and things as bodies corporate may by law do and suffer.
(2) All courts, judges, and persons acting judicially shall take judicial notice of such seal when affixed to any instrument and shall, until the contrary is proved, assumed that the seal was properly affixed to the instrument.
